This vast estate at Carolina Lowcountry provides a one-of-a-kind experience that uniquely combines southern history and almost otherworldly natural beauty: rivers, misty swamps, old oaks covered in faint Spanish moss, and salty breezes. The hotel's main building resembles a classic southern mansion, and the 50's of Country and Cottage Suites are both cozy and totally luxurious, with working fireplaces, screened porches, and gorgeous bathrooms. The various Village Homes are also luxurious, but they lack some of the nuances of country houses. Guests can enjoy a wide range of recreational facilities, including golf, cycling, tennis, croquet, kayaking and swimming (in both pools), and the luxury spa is highly acclaimed. It is not an exaggeration to say that the Palmetto Bluff assembly is one of the most special properties in the entire country.

Four Seasons Hualalai
The pristine four seasons, the only five-pearl property on the Big Island, is unlike any other resort on the Kohala coast. Leafy and landscaped grounds surround private bungalow style rooms and suites tucked along trails along the large property. The carefully designed architecture, swimming pools (all seven of them), and the public spaces are indulgent without appearing excessive. The on-site restaurant offerings are few in number, but of high quality, and include what is arguably the best restaurant on the Big Island. The service is excellent and the experience is first class down to the last detail.

The Waldorf Astoria Chicago
The Waldorf-Astoria offers top-of-the-line luxury in Chicago. With a boutique feel - but all the amenities of a great hotel - the 188-room Waldorf caters to leisure travelers as well as business travelers. Elegant rooms are decorated in neutral tones, contemporary furnishings, and gorgeous marble bathrooms that offer separate showers and tubs, as well as insert TVs in the mirrors. Highlights include the exclusive Balsan restaurant, a first-class spa, and the wellness center with multiple services and an indoor pool. In addition, the location of the hotel in the elegant Costa de Oro neighborhood puts you within walking distance of shops, luxury restaurants, and attractions

The Peninsula Beverly Hills
The Peninsula Beverly Hills gets a five-pearl rating, but as one of the best hotels in Beverly Hills, and perhaps all of Los Angeles, that may be an understatement. Thanks to its attentive staff that discreetly caters to the rich and famous, its status as a luxury Hollywood destination has been constant since its opening in the 90s. The dining room is top-notch, the rooftop pool is a playground recreational list A, and the spa uses massage oils infused with diamonds. The 194 rooms have a floral decor that is not for everyone, and the management may think it is too pedestrian to have the coffee maker in the room, but at these speeds the lack of an Italian espresso machine seems like an oversight. On the positive side, a driver and a Rolls-Royce are included with the fees.

The Inn Above Tide
A good alternative to downtown San Francisco's busy hotels, the posh over-tide Inn is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the ferry in the quaint, luxurious Sausalito (the scenic ferry ride of the city takes about 30 minutes). The 31 sophisticated rooms here overlook the sweeping bay and most come with patios overlooking the water. While there is a spa, complimentary breakfast and free wine and cheese receptions, the lack of a pool and restaurant on site can deter some visitors.

Calistoga Ranch, An Auberge Resort.
It's no wonder that celebrities royalties, A-List, and athletes will continue to return to the luxury Calistoga Ranch: You're in a class by yourself. To rent exquisite private cottages, located on a private 157-acre park-like property complete with hiking trails and a top-of-the-line restaurant and spa. Attention to detail moves from the design space for landscape planning - all modules corresponding to the loggias were flown by helicopter to minimize the impact on surrounding trees and to maximize privacy. The property has a lot of activities, including outdoor yoga, a beautiful heated outdoor pool, a petanque court, a fabulous fitness center, and wine tasting seminars. If customers decide to venture for some reason, you can easily access Calistoga center and other villages, not only with loan bicycles, but on loan Mercedes-Benz! This property stands out as one of the most notable not only in the Napa Valley, but throughout the country.

The Jefferson, Washington DC
After a massive renovation in 2009, this boutique hotel reopened, and regained its place among the DC elite hotels. It is not as famous as the Hay-Adams, but its subtle mix of technology (televisions integrated into the bathroom mirrors, electronic cleaning buttons) and colonial charms (intimate library, dumbwaiter work) are second to none. All that is missing is the TJ itself. (Oh, wait, no, here it is ...)

Fairmont Grand Del Mar
The 40-room, luxury Lodge at Sea Island is on the site of an old cotton plantation, accessed through an avenue of historic oak trees prior to the war dripping with Spanish moss. Outside, the country house resembles an English manor house; Inside, it feels like a 1920-style golf club or hunting lodge, with personal butlers who deliver milk and cookies to the bedrooms before bedtime. Golfers will be in heaven, but there are a lot of activities not focused on fields, too. The rooms are huge and full of amenities - some have balconies with beautiful views of the Simons San sound. Listen to the piper that performs every night at sunset. Guests should keep in mind that some of the features - such as the beach, spa and swimming pool - are located on the sister property, the cloister, which is too far to walk; However, there is a regular free round-trip shuttle service.

Post Ranch Inn
The 39-room Post Ranch Inn is one of the most beautiful hotels in the United States - if not the entire world - and offers a romantic, intimate stay in the midst of magnificent natural surroundings. The hotel is built on the cliffs of Big Sur, and the organic architecture is impressive, it seemed to grow out of the ground next to redwoods from the hotel's surroundings. The spacious and eco-sensitive rooms overlook the sea or the mountain (which are sometimes obstructed by the penetrating fog that the area is known to many) and feature floor-to-ceiling windows to better show you retreat. Rooms also have a wood burning fireplace, underfloor heating, outdoor showers or whirlpool tubs, private decks, and organic bathroom products and linens - but no TVs or alarm clocks as the hotel strives to achieve an atmosphere of peace. The award-winning spa focuses on rejuvenating services and even has a shaman in place; the restaurant, Sierra Mar, is one of the best in Big Sur; The cliff top of the hotel pools are awesome; and free services (such as yoga and watching the stars) are plentiful.
