Most visited countries

According to the report of the sector drafted by the World Tourism Organization, these are the countries that most visitors (people who spend the night) received according to the 2016 data.

France: 82.6 million people.
United States: 75.6 million people.
Spain: 75.6 million people. This is an increase of 10.3% more than in the previous year where there were 68.5 million
China: 59.3 million people.
Italy: 52.4 million people.
United Kingdom: 35.8 million people.
Germany: 35.6 million people.
Mexico: 35 million people.
Thailand: 32.6 million people. This Asian country is one of those that has increased the number of visitors every year, as well as the income from tourism.
The top five countries, France, the United States, Spain, China and Italy, continue to be the tourism leaders and repeat again in the top five of the ranking.
